Already known for its ongoing community efforts, Jordan Brand has now unveiled a brand-new 20-year long partnership with Howard University. In an official statement, MJ’s namesake label stated that the team effort will spotlight communities within the school and amplify their wider influence. Michael Jordan himself will be committing $100 Million USD to the partnership, hoping to inspire a new generation of dreamers and elevate the athletic department at Howard University.
When asked about the partnership, Jordan Brand President Craig Williams said, “Howard University and Jordan Brand share a legacy of excellence and deep commitment to the Black Community. As a HBCU graduate, I understand the educational impact an institution like Howard University has.
