Following on from the success of the pair’s first Samba release earlier in the year, JJJJound and adidas have once again teamed up to drop another terrace style just in time for Euro 2024. Inspired by the sporting heritage of the Three Stripe brand, this latest collaboration was debuted by a model with almost as much success on the pitch as adidas themselves.
Linking up with “The Special One”, adidas and JJJJound chose José Mourinho to model their new 6 piece collection, set to launch later this month. Alongside footwear, this time we will also be treated to a number of apparel and accessories. For a closer look and further information on how to get your hands on this collab, keep reading below.
First up, let’s take a look at the sneakers. Once again it is the Samba which acts as the base for this collaboration, and once again JJJJound keep things simple and classy with an easy going colourway which pays homage to adidas’ terrace history. Taking inspiration from the classic adidas Tobacco, the colourway and materials used for the JJJJound x adidas Samba "Tobacco" offer a direct reference to this historic silhouette whilst also celebrating the “Year of the Samba”. Much like we’ve come to expect from every JJJJound collaboration, premium materials and tonal hues make this a must-cop for any Three Stripes fan.
If you were looking for an outfit to pair with these Sambas, don’t worry, adidas x JJJJound have got you covered there as well. Modelled effortlessly by José, a full tracksuit will be dropping soon including a special triple-white jersey. The all black nylon tracksuit offers a slim fit and comes in water repellent nylon, perfect for the British weather. Not ones for flashy branding, the adidas and JJJJound logos are embroidered alongside each other in a tonal hue which blends in with the all-black styling. Similarly the all white jersey keeps branding minimal and opts for tonal branding which reflects the brand’s “if-you-know-you-know” aesthetic.
Last but not least, we can’t forget the accessories. A matching nylon bag will accompany the tracksuit and is a great option for the upcoming festival season, especially as it features a water repellent coating. Our must-have piece from the collection however is the adidas x JJJJound co-branded football. Following the classic black and white design, this would make for a great cop whether it’s going to sit on your shelf or see some time on the pitch.
Set to release on June 27th, this latest collection from adidas Originals x JJJJound will be dropping via the adidas CONFIRMED app as well as JJJJound’s website and other select retailers. With hype building around this release, will this be a "special one"?
