No stranger to a questionable collaboration, Kanye West has joined forces with McDonald’s once again, revealed via a post to his Instagram account. The rapper first teamed up with the fast-food brand back in February when West starred in a TV commercial aired during the superbowl that featured one of his signature armoured vehicles. This time around however, Kanye has reimagined the iconic burger packaging along with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa of Muji fame to offer up a minimalistic take on the design.
The burger box showcases McDonald’s iconic golden arches on the top of the box, with an enlarged image of a burger covering the rest of the packaging. On the underside of the box the words “next week it’s the fries” are printed, referencing lyrics from Gold Digger. As of yet it’s unclear if or when this packaging will make it to restaurants, however make sure to keep it locked in right here for all the latest as we’ll be sure to let you know.
