Collaborating plenty of times in the past, Maison Margiela and Reebok are back at it once again, this time pretty much inventing an entirely-new type of sneaker. Somewhere in between a clog and a loafer, this brand-new collaborative effort has been dubbed the “cloafer”. Crafted from 100% polyurethane, the kicks showcase a sole unit that’s been taken from the Zig Kinetica II and the Zig 3D Storm, two successful Reebok silhouettes in their own right. Maison Margiela details also make an appearance in the form of the fashion house’s signature white stitches on the lateral side, and numerical branding on the forefoot.
Finally, Reebok’s classic vector logo makes an appearance on the toe guard of the kicks. Already starting to arrive at select retailers, these sneakers are guaranteed to divide opinion amongst sneakerheads, so are you loving or hating them? While you’re with us here at The Sole Supplier, check out our deep-dive into the current clogcore trend too!
