Earlier this summer, French fashion label Vetement teamed up with Reebok for a clean Instapump Fury, painted in a bold but tasteful shade. Now, fast forward a few months, and the duo have come out with something that can only be described as the exact opposite.
Made exclusively for London based retailer MatchesFashion, the limited edition Genetically Modified Pump isn't for the faint hearted. A heavily modified version of the iconic Instapump silhouette, the kicks feature a bold pre-aged, somewhat pre-dirtied construction with black and white hits present throughout.
Secured by a single velcro strap with the Reebok logo embossed proudly on it, the chunky shoes are priced at £810, and are available now at MatchesFashion! What do you think of the Genetically Modified Pumps? Are you a fan of its unique looks? Or do you think Vetement and Reebok have gone a step too far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below! In related news, Balenciaga have officially unveiled the Track sneaker in four colourways.
