The Swoosh Brand never fail to give the classic '82 Bruce Kilgore-designed AF1 an update. Just when we thought there couldn't possibly be any more styles to squeeze out of this silhouette, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Mini-Swoosh "Sail" emerges in two new iterations, and boy, are they good'uns. Taking that iconic chunky white midsole and combining it with a simplistic mini-Swoosh design celebrates all that is good about the much-loved Air Force 1 and makes for one extremely clean set of sneakers.
Tumbled-leather "Sail" panels dress the white upper on the one, whilst the outlines of silver Swooshes cover the white mid-panel below the iconic Nike Swoosh. On the other, "Sail" only dresses the mid-panel and branding at the top of the tongue. More Swooshes can be found on the heel panel under the Nike Air branding on both pairs, corresponding to the top of the tongue. What's more is, this special design element is constructed from 3M material, meaning the Swooshes all reflect in the dark! We love that on the second pair, we are treated to Swooshes upon Swooshes. Perfect for us Nike fans. We're guessing these AF-1s are going to be a future classic.
The design is finished up with some metallic lace dubraes at the bottom of the all-white lace unit. And don't worry, the perforations across the toe box are situated in their usual place, meaning that comfort, as well as style, is guaranteed with this kick.
