Tinker Hatfield's Nike Air Max 1 silhouette has hosted numerous collaborations through the years, notably since its debut in 1987. The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Monarch", in particular, is one of the coveted releases over the past year and there's no denying that many missed out on them like with most hyped collaborations. Luckily, the Swoosh team is bringing forth the Nike Air Max 1 "Magma Orange", which looks almost similar.
When compared, the Nike AM1 "Magma Orange" and Patta's AM1 "Monarch" features an identical colour palette of a neutral upper with contrasting orange counterparts and a mini Swoosh logo towards the lateral toes. Although the main difference is that the Patta version remixes the standard mudguards into a wave-shaped look.
This AM1 "Magma Orange", however, is beautiful in its own right — showcasing a segmented mudguard in various materials like faux reptile skin, canvas, and tumbled and textured leather. Completing these Air Max 1s is a pre-aged Air midsole unit and the classic Nike Air branding embroidered on the heel segment. It is also worth noting that these pay homage to the Air Max 1 Anniversary "Magma Orange" from 2020.
The Nike Air Max 1 "Magma Orange" is set to release in the next coming weeks via Nike and select retailers. Stay locked in The Sole Supplier so you don't miss out on the latest trainers from Nike. In related news, Nike's Air Max range is currently better than ever, and here's why!
