Nike Air Max 1 Magma Orange

The 35-year-old Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Air Max 1 brings back its “Master” collection from 2017. Presenting the Nike Air Max 1 Magma Orange.

This Air Max 1 is all grey on the upper part of the shoe, from the mesh base to the suede overlays. The titular Magma Orange takes over starting with the signature profile safari print Swooshes on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe. The colour continues on the bottom half of the shoe from the toe cap, the mudguard to the heel counter. These sections are a patchwork quilt of animal prints, including elephant and faux snake, and canvas. Branding on the tongue tab and the heel tab also take on Magma Orange. The midsole with an exposed Air unit is a vintage-looking beige. A grey, brown and Magma Orange rubber outsole caps off the look of this shoe.
