While many of us have been left reeling over the 991 collaboration with Palace Skateboards two months ago, New Balance is back and ready to prove for the millionth time that it's not a one-trick pony. Readying two fresh iterations of its 991 silhouette, the Boston-based brand is continuing to ensure we come correct with our kicks.
The colourways, entitled "Grape Juice" and "Pacific," both flaunt the brand's Made in UK label as a badge of honouring, guaranteeing the highest degree of quality from the brand. With each model handcrafted in New Balance's Flimby factory, this is about as close as we UK sneaker fanatics get to home-grown goodness.
Starting with the "Grape Juice" silhouette, it's not exactly hard to see where this colourway gets its name. Atop its white mesh base, quality purple suede overlays decorate the uppers, providing an aesthetic that is nothing short of elevated. Its counterpart, the "Pacific," sports the same white mesh, but instead, dons a drab green makeup on its suede uppers. Both models can be found with black accents at the heel and ABZORB cushioning underfoot, providing nothing but the best comfort.
Both models are expected to drop on New Balance's website on the 20th of July, so if you're looking to cop, don't forget to set a release reminder below so you don't miss out!
