In their effort to create a brighter future for all athletes (btw, if you have a body, you are an athlete in Nike's eyes), the Swoosh Brand are striving towards a zero carbon, zero waste future. Whilst in the past we've seen more sustainable efforts dress the likes of the Space Hippie and the odd Flyknit Air Force 1, Nike have expanded their range to reach the hypebeasts and fashion-conscious individuals by making an effort with more desirable vegan-leather AF1s and now a range of Dunk Lows.
Following on from the "Pink", "White" and "Black" iterations, we now have the neutral-toned Nike Dunk Low Next Nature "Light Orewood" to look forward to.
Nike's vegan leather dresses the upper, with a tumbled texture adding contrast to the overlays against the colourless backdrop. The Nike Swooshes stand subtly on the medial and lateral sidewalls, whilst underfoot, the speckled Grind outsole sits beneath a clean midsole. All tied up with a beige lace unit, this is one easy-to-wear Dunk that's going to go with a variety of outfits and add some chic to our shoedrobes.
As a reminder of the shoe's "Move to Zero" efforts, the Dunk Low Next Nature has a bright "Volt" insole that features Nike's pinwheel logo under the ball of your foot.
