Nike Dresses the Air Max 1 in a "Familia" Colourway for Dia De Muertos

Dia De Muertos, or Day of the Dead to any non-Spanish speakers, is often one of the most exciting events in Nike's calendar each year. On an annual basis, the Swoosh brand celebrates the primarily Mexican tradition with a vibrant silhouette, and this year might just be one of the best yet.

Accompanying a spate of sought-after AM1 colourways this year, Nike has just released a first look at the Nike Air Max 1 Dia De Muertos "Familia." Embracing the vibrant theme of the holiday, the "Familia" pairs an array of rich hues together to create nothing short of an eye-catching pair.

Atop a multi-coloured sole, distinctive pink suede Overlays are accentuated by what seems to be a textured green trim. The base hue flaunts an off-white hue, making way for other red and yellow trims to shine. Atop the tongue, "Familia" branding reinforces the spirit of the holiday, backed up by a multicoloured sole.
