This year, St. Patrick’s Day lands on the 17th March and Nike is getting in on the celebrations early by teasing a clover-green Air Force 1 alongside a matching Nike Air Max 90. An ode to Ireland and St. Patrick himself, these sneakers don everything you’d expect, from the celebration’s iconic four-leaf clover, mixed greens and, of course, a polished gold-tone lace lock to add a bit of bling.
The Nike Air Force 1 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ is crafted from smooth leather and the shoe’s toe box and Swoosh come in a lime green that’s impossible to miss. The rest of the sneaker comes in a grassy green and the heel is stamped with four-leaf clovers to really hammer home the Irish theme. The outsole and Nike ‘AIR’ logo on the heel match the tree-green while the midsole itself and heel overlay come in crisp white to offer a touch of contrast.
Adopting the same theme as the AF1, the Nike Air Max 90 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ comes in the same multi-green colourway, but this time, the gold accent sits on the shoe’s logo on the lateral sidewall. The Swoosh comes in crisp white and the sole is, of course, fitted with Nike’s world-famous Air cushioning that supports your foot where you need it most.
Rumoured to land in March ahead of the big day, keep it locked into The Sole Supplier if you want to be the first to know when a confirmed release date is announced for the Nike Air Force 1 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’ and the Nike Air Max 90 ‘St. Patrick’s Day’!
