We’ve got to say, Nike’s Air Max 90 silhouette has had a strong year. Colourways like the Racing Orange have been stirring up a lot of interest, and now we're seeing a Drift variant pop up that gives a definite nod to the iconic Air Max 95 OG Neon.
If you're after some serious durability in your trainers, you have to check out Nike’s mecha inspired Drift series. We first saw the Air Max 90 edition drop last autumn, but it's making a return in 2025 with new options that hark back to a true classic. By the way, if you want to stay on top of all the latest sneaker drops, make sure you download The Sole Supplier App.
The Air Max 90 Drift takes the original running shape and gives it some serious armour with leather, rip stop nylon, and rubber additions. This construction is built to last. The pull tabs on the tongue and heel make getting them on easy, while reflective details provide essential visibility for late night walks.
This updated silhouette borrows the famous grey, black, and volt colour scheme from the Air Max 95 OG. Just like the original, the vivid green is used sparingly, only showing up on the heel's logo, the Air Max branding on the upper, and the visible Air unit.
These are currently set to release around 20th October for £135. Take a look at the first images and make sure smash that bell icon and we’ll let you know as soon as these drop.
What are your thoughts on this new colourway?
