Believe us when we say that Reebok is a brand you should be keeping an eye on this year. Hot on the heels of releasing its gorpy Club C Mid with designer and sustainability advocate Nicole McLaughlin, the Uk-founded, Boston-based brand has turned its attention back to its Patta link-up - reviving the stealthy triple black version of the classic low-top model that the duo dropped in 2022, with proceeds from the sale going to charitable causes.
As far as the actual sneaker goes, the collab adopts a “less is more” approach to its design. The Club C is an icon in itself and as a result, changes remain minimal. In fact, all that’s different is the Pan-African red, black and green colouring that dresses the Patta logo that replaces the Union Jack at the sidewall, and the co-branded tongue tabs that highlight the partnership. The rest of the sneaker remains simple: a leather build comes topped with a rubber outsole, allowing the collaboration’s sentiment to speak for itself.
As with the previous release, part of the proceeds from the drop will go towards three organisations: Amsterdam’s The Black Archives, The Sistah Space in London and Milan’s The Good Neighbourhood Collective. To both support the release and get your hands on a pair, be sure to head over to Patta, where the collaborative Club C is available to buy now.
Up next, here's why you should be paying attention to Mizuno in 2023.
