Peep an Official Look at the Union LA x Nike Cortez "Khaki Red"

LA-based Union and Nike have revealed quite the line-up for 2022 already, and now it seems as if the collabs just keep on coming. With a couple of Jordan 2s and some Dunks already on the way, the most recent shoe to be revealed is the Union LA x Nike Cortez “Khaki Red.” Said to be one of a couple of Cortez collabs, we can expect a few more colourways to come out yet, but for now let’s take a closer look at this pair to see what we’re working with.

Starting off with a neutral-hued tan upper, the “Khaki Red” Cortez has quite a rough-and-ready look about it. Under the suede tan overlays, the sneaker is made up from a beige and khaki striped canvas construction, whilst bright red detailing across the Nike Swoosh, eyestays and dual-branded tongue tabs add contrast. At the back of the sneaker, a bright red heel tab is decorated with Union LA’s Frontman logo, and this lifts to reveal a Nike branded heel tab underneath. Other Union LA detailing includes a UN/LA tab towards the front of the sneaker.

Underfoot, the Union Cortez “Khaki Red” appears to have co-branded cork insoles, as well as a cork midsole. The shoe is finished with two-tone laces that quite literally tie the colourway together.
