For all the Dunk Low fans out there, you’ll be glad to know that despite initial thoughts that the Swoosh Brand would be slowing down their Dunk offering for 2022 and focusing on other things (like the AF1's 40th anniversary and 25 years since the launch of the Air Max 97), this doesn’t appear to be the case. Nike are now upping their game in terms of premium Dunk iterations, and following on from the previously unveiled Dunk Low “Koala”, we now catch a first glimpse at the Nike Dunk Low “Grey Suede”, an earth-toned design that will appeal to monochrome-loving sneaker fans far and wide.
Suede covers the entirety of the upper in “Light Bone” and grey, the former colouring dressing the overlays on the toe box, eyelets and heel. The Nike Swoosh matches to the rest of the upper in the titular grey hue, but black piping around the tick allows for it to stand out on the medial and lateral sidewalls. In keeping with the theme, a black sockliner and rubber outsole add further contrast, as well as the branding label at the top of the tongue and embroidery on the heel.
Finished up with a grey lace unit, this is one extremely clean Dunk that’s sure going to cause a stir come release day. If you’re looking for something neutral to go with the rest of your wardrobe, then this is surely it. Just make sure to use a suede protectant before wearing them to keep them looking pristine.
