Raf Simons x adidas Showcase Their Take On The Sneaker Boot

Due to January's icy cold blast, sneaker boots are taking their time to shine.

Nike and FILA have already extended a range of their classic trainers to create a cosy ankle covering fit for the chilly winter months.

The latest to join the utilitarian trend is Raf Simons x adidas, who have decided to focus on a high-top rendition of the RS Detroit.

Baring similarities to the collaboration's low-top design, the reinvented runner features a statement outsole in contrasting colours and a minimal canvas covered upper.

The RS Detroit High arguably brings a greater impact with its exaggerated boot shape and graphic print addition which is stamped in a rebellious fashion on the side panels.

A luxurious note can also be spotted in the form of a smaller logo print which reads “Raf Simons Antwerp SS 2019”, referencing the Belgian designer's haute couture roots.

Arriving on January 24th in pink/black, black/red, and grey/cream, this collection is full of seasonal essentials.
