After leaving its mark on the Air Jordan "Pine Green" last year, everyone's favourite sub-brand, Nike SB, is now reportedly looking to collaborate with another force in the Swoosh brand's arsenal. According to reports, Nike SB and Nike's Kobe division are looking to reprise their relationship to build a collaborative launch sometime in the future.
Older heads might remember Nike SB and Nike Kobe joining forces back in back in 2011 when they hosted a charity raffle of a unique Nike SB Kobe x Koston sneaker, but since that point, the duo has not collaborated again. It's no secret that the Black Mamba himself had quite an admiration for skateboarding after appearing directly in one of Eric Koston's ads, so it only makes sense that another collaboration could be on the way.
The news itself arrives from reputable sneaker leaker @masterchefian, with the post simply showcasing both the Kobe and Nike SB logos. Given the user's reputation for accurate releases and predictions, we'd say there's a pretty substantial chance that something will happen. At this point, neither Nike SB nor Nike Kobe has officiated these claims, so be sure to keep it locked in right here for the latest as it unfolds. Up next, the BAPE STA OS reimagines the classic silhouette.
