It's a question being asked constantly at the moment; which Yeezy 700 is the most hyped?! Is it this week's Yeezy 700 Salt or next month's Inertia?! Of course, in an ideal world, you wouldn't need to choose between the two. But as we all know, the 700 boasts an eye-watering price tag. A compromise has to be made unless you want to fork out £500 on two pairs of trainers!
So, what's the best colourway of the two? And is there really a winner when it comes to these striking colourways? Take a look below as these two Yeezys go head-to-head.
Let's face it, out of both styles, the Yeezy 700 Salt is far more understated. This is the first model to feature monochromatic uppers. Pretty much everything gets covered in grey from those suede overlays to the chunky midsole underfoot. If you prefer low-key to eye-popping, this is the one for you.
On the flip side, the Yeezy Boost 700 Inertia grabs attention - and all for the right reasons. Just like the OG, a vibrant neon colourway hits that chunky midsole. That shade up top is even more intriguing, not quite grey and not quite green. It's hardly surprising that these are the most Insta'd shoe of the season.
What about the difference in rarity of the two?! Well, according to sources there'll be no more than 7,000 pairs of the Yeezy 700 Salt hitting adidas Europe. That would make it pretty darn limited - similar to that of December's Yeezy 700 V2 'Static'.
Stock is yet to be announced for the Inertia but there are rumours of another limited size run. With so much demand for this colourway, it's guaranteed to be a difficult cop!
Unfortunately, we can't answer which of the Yeezy 700 Salt or Intertia are the best; that's entirely up to you! It's all a matter of perspective and admittedly, these are both worthy additions to your Spring rotation. And with that chunky Boost midsole underfoot, these are one of the comfiest trainers on road.
The Yeezy 700 Salt is the first to go live, hitting adidas UK tomorrow from 7am. Set those alarms and stay tuned for more info on the Inertia including a raffle guide which is coming soon.
