Saucony have always been producers of great footwear and use some of the most unusual inspiration to create their colour palettes. Whether it was working with END. to create the Burger or their revered Ice-Cream collection, the Pennsylvanian natives have always dabbled into the food market.
Now, they are being health conscious with the impending launch of the Saucony Shadow 6000 'Avocado Toast'. Coming with a poppy colour palette and textured materials, this quirky sneaker is unusual to say the least.
The mudguard is adorned in a buttery nubuck and suede combination to represent the crumbly toast and smooth crust. Moving up, a 2-toned green upper, again in leather and nubuck, is there to represent the guacamole.
Playful as ever, Saucony have adapted their heel counter logo to say 'Saucamole', we cannot fault this shoe. Rounded off with red speckles to represent the chilli flakes and the American footwear giants have made a sneaker to be proud of.
Launching at select retailers from February 26, we cannot wait to see the Instagram shots people are going to get with these.
