In celebration of 150 years of the Scottish national team, adidas and the Scottish Football Association have joined forces once more to produce a fresh and unique national football kit. Given the importance of football to Scotland as a nation, this latest kit aims to embody and exemplify Scottish football in all its glory.
This latest jersey draws inspiration straight from the uniform of the Scottish team in 1872 as the nation played its first match against England. A dark navy hue dominates the exterior of this piece, delivering a stealthy and liveried appearance. This tint has been contrasted by a thick white collar and striped detailing found on both sleeves, a nod to Queen’s Park FC, a team integral to the founding of the national squad. Atop the chest, a woven Lion Rampant is seen in gold atop a tonal crested shield. Finally, adidas' classic performance logo can also be seen.
Each shirt arrives made from adidas' AEROREADY fabric, delivering sweat-wicking capabilities as well as exceptional comfort throughout wear. The shirt is set to make its debut this Saturday when Scotland’s Men's National Team takes on Cyprus in their first UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying match. We expect the kit will also land on adidas' website around that time, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. In other fashion news, rumors of a Nike SB x Carhartt collaboration emerge.
