Known for his chart-topping hit singles and his constant influence across the UK grime scene, Skepta has played a vital part in the growth of streetwear culture as we know it. News just in is that the London-based rapper’s brand Big Smoke Corp. has signed a brand-new partnership with German brand PUMA. The duo are set to collaborate on a partnership titled “Futro”, and although no further details have been revealed yet, the project is expected to span across both the footwear and apparel sectors.
Skepta’s past Nike collaborations have proved to be immensely popular with sneakerheads, most notably his work on the Air Max 97 and the Nike Shox TL. While nothing has been announced, it’s likely that we won’t see another Skepta x Nike effort anytime soon, as this PUMA deal is expected to limit his working with other brands. While we don’t know too much else just yet, make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for more details as they unfold, and check out the latest regarding Kanye’s ongoing public battle with adidas.
