Following an announcement earlier this summer, it appears that Skepta's MAINS label is gearing up for its grand relaunch. Looking to join the ranks of surging UK streetwear labels such as Corteiz and Clints, MAINS now offers us a first look at its first collection ahead of London Fashion Week.
Tapping rapper Central Cee for a teaser, the collection looks to be relaxed and oversized in its construction, delivering a modernised take on wardrobe staples. In terms of product, so far, a total of six pieces have been revealed, including a tee, denim jackets, New Era hats, sunglasses, a tape recorder and a phone case.
The T-Shirt sports what seems to depict a take on the Greek mythological god Atlas, holding an "M" logo instead of the world. Underneath, a Dover Street Market logo references where the collaboration will be exclusively dropping. The denim pieces feature a dark black wash, with contrasting stitching found all over. Further details arrive in the form of asymmetrical pockets and a stitched logo.
For those looking to get their hands on the first MAINS collection, it will launch directly on Dover Street Market's website on the 17th of September. In other fashion news, Nike's latest ISPA collection takes a Techie approach to Gorpcore styles.
