Due to Michael Jordan’s love for the sport of golf (alongside basketball, of course), Jordan Brand has been producing golf-optimised sneakers for many years now and they’re always quick to sell out with fans of the sport and sneakerheads alike. For it’s latest effort made for the course, the label has unveiled the Air Jordan 4 Golf “Black Cat”, that’s obviously inspired by the retro colourway of the same name.
Decked out in a stealthy blacked-out colourway, the pair showcase all the best features of the popular AJ4 silhouette that has been knocking about since 1989, when Tinker Hatfield first bought it to the market. Combined with this, the sneakers are totally optimised for the golf course, meaning you can head on out to play and still look fresh without worrying about your performance.
The uppers are crafted from what looks to be a type of faux-pony hair fabric, in contrast to the original Black Cats. Other notable details include the typical AJ4 lace wings, tonal Jumpman branding on the tongues and heels and a plush inner lining to keep the feet warm. The midsole offers up plenty of cushioning while traditional golf spikes are located on the outsole.
If you’re liking the look of the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Golf “Black Cat”, you’ll have to keep it locked in here as the pair aren’t set to release just yet. As soon as we have an official date we’ll be the first to let you know.
