Originally launched in 1985, Dunks are one of the hottest silhouettes of the moment and Nike are continuing to turn up the heat with this release of the Nike Dunk High Syracuse. After the success of their low-top counterpart which released last year, Syracuse is soon to hit the shelves again in their new high-top form, with full-family sizing.
Although created as a basketball shoe, Dunks were quickly adopted by the skater community, which saw the launch of low-top counterpart to cater to the demand. As our first official look at these bright and beautiful kicks, we see the premium leather we know and love in all the recent Dunk drops. Below a crisp white base are bold Orange Blaze accents, to give these kicks their head-turning appeal.
Also painted a bright tangerine are the iconic Nike Swoosh logos on both the medial and lateral side panels, joined at the back by a miniature pull tab. The padded collars and Air-cushioned midsoles are added to promise comfort, while below, the colour contrasting continues via a fresh white midsole and bright-coloured outsole.
The legendary perforated toe box is added to keep you cool during those summer months, whether you’re wearing these on the court, on the board or even just on those streets. Again, like their low-top counterparts, this pair features matching orange laces and an orange logo patch on the tongue.
Sunshine soon come, and when it does, we’ll be pairing these with pretty much any T-shirt and shorts combo. However, these Nike Dunk High Orange are set to be a fan-favourite, so for the best chance of copping, stay locked into The Sole Supplier.
