Initially made as a basketball shoe the '80s by legendary Nike footwear architect Peter Moore, the Nike Dunk eventually transitioned into a fashion and lifestyle staple as we know it today. The Nike Dunk Low Orange Blaze Syracuse is one of the OG colourways from 1985 that was re-introduced to the masses in 2020, featuring a two-toned setup of orange and white that was part of the silhouette's inaugural "Be True To Your School" pack. Two years have passed since the Dunk Syracuse's last release and the Beaverton sportswear giant is now readying the pair for a restock that was originally rumoured to be in the first half of November.
The colour arrangement is simple: a smooth leather base in white sets the stage for the overlaying counterparts to deliver a pop of contrast by way of a bold "Orange Blaze" colourway. This includes the Swoosh logos on the lateral and medial sides, branded tongues and heel tabs, shoelaces, and the outsole to complete. Perforations across the toe boxes enable optimised breathability and lightweight feel, while a full-length cushioned midsole beneath the feet ensure all day comfort.
