Supreme is a brand that’s never scared to shy away from bold statements, but the rumours surrounding its upcoming Nike collab certainly have people talking. For their latest trick, the NY-born brand has taken one of the Swoosh’s most controversial silhouettes to drop a banger, so here’s everything we know about the rumoured Supreme x Nike Clogposite.
If you haven’t heard of the Clogposite, then let us assure you that 1 - it’s real, and 2 - it looks precisely as it sounds. That’s right - somewhere in the shuniverse exists a topless Nike Foamposite, and Supreme is dead-set on bringing that model back to the forefront of the sneaker and streetwear scene.
Having debuted in the early 2000s (you only have to look at it to be able to pinpoint the timeline) the Clogposite was designed as a comfy slip-on option for tired feet at the end of a basketball game. Like its sporty brother, the style boasts a moulded, one-piece look and has dropped in some crazy 00’s-inspired colourways, which we’re sure formed part of the appeal behind Supreme’s decision.
Now, clogs may have gained a hell of a lot of traction over the past two years, but we’re not quite sure the world is ready for this collab quite yet. Neither, it seems, are Nike and Supreme, as this drop is currently penned in for spring/summer 2024 - giving fans a year to warm to the controversial creation. Though no images of the collab pairs have surfaced just yet, check out the silhouette right here, and be sure to stay locked to The Sole Supplier for more info and imagery as it comes in.
Up next, June's Yeezy line-up has been revealed.
