Take a Closer Look at the Nike Air Max 97 "Puerto Rico"

First unveiled at the start of last month, the Nike Air Max 97 “Puerto Rico” has been eagerly awaited by sneakerheads throughout the world since. The pair bear a strong resemblance to the OG AM97 “Silver Bullet '', however a few extra details give them an ultra-premium and limited-edition feel that we just can’t resist! We’ve now got a closer look right here thanks to campaign images direct from Nike.

Looking set to be crafted from premium leather and mesh, the uppers take on a mainly silver appearance, while details emerge in red and blue to colour-match the Puerto Rican flag. Branding comes in the form of an embroidered mini-Swoosh on the lateral and medial sides in typical AM97 fashion, while the Puerto Rican flag is present on each tongue tab (the right way around, this time).

The pair showcase a navy-blue lined inner, once again distinguishing these from the ever-popular OG release, while they sit on top of a white midsole unit that encases a full-length Nike Air Max sole unit for optimum comfort and support at all times. A rugged black outsole provides traction and completes the look.
