Take a Closer Look at the Upcoming Patta x Nike Air Max 1s

Following on from the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Monarch", is this pleasing blue iteration that rides the wave in a nautical colour scheme. The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Noise Aqua/Pure Platinum" is constructed from luxury nubuck leather and a silvery mesh like the "Monarch" iteration, but with an alternate colour palette.

The squiggly, leather mudguard adds a premium feel to the sneaker, perfectly complementing the off-white, or "Sail", midsole. As usual, there's an exposed Air unit towards the rear, adding that unrivalled comfort we are used to getting with an AM1. Underfoot, a black and cream outsole has the iconic Nike waffle texture for ultimate grip and support.

The Swooshes on the medial and lateral sidewalls come in that same "Noise Aqua" hue, topping the white smooth leather that surrounds the eyelets and ankle. At the front of the trainer is where we see most of the mesh underlay. This material allows for plenty of breathability and flexibility whatever the occasion. A very pale lace unit ties up this collaborative Air Max 1 from top to toe and covers a buttery-yellow cushioned tongue and ankle.

Images recently surfaced of a brand-new colourway, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Night Maroon. This takes on a lot more colour than the previous two releases, including stiff leather waves around the mudguard, with the Swoosh, eyelets and tongue matching in the same hue. The mesh underlay remains for the body, as well as the "Sail" midsole, however more colour is added in the form of orange cushioning around the ankle and the top of the tongue.
