The Yeezy 450 seems to be a big focus for the Yeezy team this year, as another colourway has been revealed in the form of the Yeezy 450 “Sulfur.” It’s a shade we’ve seen on other silhouettes recently too – both the Knit Runner and Yeezy Boost 700 have been spotted in the yellowy tone, which is a far cry from the dark aesthetics that dressed the DONDA 2 launch.
Arriving in a pale yellow, the “Sulfur” tone used on the 450 is much more muted than the titular colour of both the Knit Runner and 700, and calls back to the more muted earthy tones we’re used to seeing from Yeezy. Its pale tan makeup is certainly more spring-ready than the “Cinder” 450 that we’ve also seen recently, making this a must-have option for summer.
The “Sulfur” 450 comes in the same adidas Primeknit and EVA construction as we’ve come to expect from the silhouette, with the titular hue covering everything from the upper to the shoe’s signature jagged midsole. A ribbed collar keeps the 450’s sock-like upper nice and tight to the foot, and rope laces tie the pair together. As with other 450 models, the “Sulfur” iteration foregoes any Boost tech for an EVA sole – the same comfortable and moulded material that makes up the Yeezy Slides and Foam Runner.
The “Sulfur” adidas Yeezy 450 is now live on adidas CONFIRMED, so be sure to head over there soon to get your raffle entry in before it closes at 6:30am on May 7th!
Up next, peep an early look at the Yeezy 700 "Hi-Res Red."
