With New Balance continuing to act as a force to be reckoned with in the sneaker world, the brand continues to explore its vast sneaker archives to bring back silhouettes from years gone by. One of the latest retro models to experience a resurgence is the 650R. Piggy-backing off the success of its low-top sibling (the 550), the 650R offers up vintage-style looks that are straight from the 1980s, with Aimé Leon Dore even using the silhouette as the blank canvas for one of its many collaborations. Seen here in a neat black, red and white colourway, the kicks are crafted from premium leather across the uppers for a comfortable feel, with classic branding like New Balance’s signature N log on the sides and basketball motifs featured on the tongues.
The branding continues onto the midsole, while “650R” is hot stamped below the toe boxes for a range-specific feature. If you’re looking to step up your sneaker game then check out the vast array of kicks available over at New Balance UK today, as well as the model in question here.
