Chromed out
A collaboration that has brought many great sneakers to us, Raf Simons x adidas, are now bringing out a metallic dipped version of their well known "Ozweego"; sneaker. First seen at the Paris Fashion Week men's event on the feet of mannequins, these metallic sneakers are tying futuristic and contemporary footwear into one. What are your thoughts on them?
These sneakers have taken it to the next level with their appearance. While a large percentage of chunky sneakers today can be linked back to or compared to other brands or other styles, we can't compare this chrome to anything else at the moment. This upcoming Raf Simons x adidas Ozweego has managed to deliver a completely original sneaker.
Arriving in cream, pink, red and black in the near future, these sneakers have the signature Ozweego upper while the bottom has been modernised with chrome detailing. Simons' minimal logo can be seen on the padded tongue of each of these colourways in his classic typeface. Each of the sneakers are also covered in a one tone colourway, keeping the rest of the sneaker minimal with panel detailing, switching between leather and mesh.
