It’s been another busy week here at The Sole Supplier, with high-heat drops and serious restocks all round! Thankfully, we’ve managed to set some time aside to pick out the top ten sneaker photo submissions from our massive Facebook group! We had a huge amount of submission with over 100 entries, so let’s jump right in and get started.
Air Jordan 1’s simply never go out of fashion, and @samuraiwolf90 hasn’t hesitated to show us just how good the silhouette is. Mega-hyped pairs such as Virgil Abloh’s collaborative take on the Chicago’s sit peacefully next to low-key releases such as the AJ1 Crimson Tint, what a solid collection!
The OG Parley Ultra Boost held grail status for many collectors for a long time, so it was a pleasure to see the silhouette finally receive a wider global release. This shot from @seabass_photos reminds us just how good the recycled model really is!
Inspired by the Japanese Bullet Train and designed by the legendary Christian Tresser, the OG colourway of the Air Max 97 is simply one of the best sneakers ever. The Silver Bullet’s are looking better than ever in this shot by @fairjebphotos, and it’s making us want a fresh pair all over again!
The Air Max 1 was the first ever Air Max sneaker to release all the way back in 1987. They’ve remained absolute classics ever since, and @ben_10_ldn has lined up his collection for this clean shot!
While certain hype models will always dominate the sneaker world, any true sneakerhead will know that GR’s can be just as good as the latest high-heat release! Community member @jackhopwood_ proves this with his pair of New Balance M997’s - they’re looking mega-clean!
While Dunk’s are without a doubt having a moment right now, @generalb0ss shows off the Nike Dunk Low Bred from all the way back in 2004! Taking on the classic colourway from the 1985 Air Jordan 1, we can’t even begin to imagine the hype these would create if they saw a re-release now!
Travis Scott’s Air Force 1 Low “Cactus Jack” is easily one of the best models the rapper has set his creative hand to, from the vast array of materials to the innovative zip-up lace cover, they’re bangers from start to finish. This on-foot shot by @amieejerrard makes us want a pair even more than we already did!
Sacai’s collaborative pairs with Nike have easily been some of the most hyped sneakers of the last year or two, with the recent white nylon rendition one of the cleanes of the lot! Using real waffles, @ricardoabsalut has got seriously creative with this shot! Did you know that Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman originally created the waffle sole in his garage using his wife’s waffle iron?
The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 2.0 was one of the best AM1 releases in recent years, and we’re still gutted we never managed to cop! Thankfully we’re not too salty to admire them from afar, as @sneakerassemblyhall shows off the rear-end of this pair for a clean shot!
Travis Scott makes his way into our list once again, this time around in the form of the Air Max 270 React “Cactus Trails”. Pictured on foot here from @bethcolecreative, I think we speak for many when we say these definitely grew on us!
That rounds off our selection from this week’s entries, and as per usual it was extremely hard to choose! If you weren’t featured this time around don’t stress, as we’ll be back again next week! Make sure you join our Facebook group now and keep your eyes peeled for the engagement post. Until then, get your best pairs on-foot and get creative with those photos!
