The AM90 remains one of the most popular Air Max silhouettes of all time. It was designed by Nike architect Tinker Hatfield in 1990 and has emerged in various renditions since its inauguration, including OG colourways like the "Infrared" and also collaborative releases like the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90. They're a must-have in your rotation, so be sure to check out our Air Max 90 size guide to know how they fit.
Nike designer Sergio Lozano debuted the AM95 in 1995 and was the first Air Max silhouette to accommodate two visible Air units forefoot. Its original colourway, titled "Neon", received a re-release in 2020 and gained the attention of modern-day sneaker collectors. Does the Nike Air Max 95 fit true to size? Find out using our Air Max 95 sizing guide here!
The AM96 II was also created by Sergio Lozano. It might not have been as popular as its predecessor, but its 25th-anniversary comeback in 2021 changed that for the better. Even world-famous streetwear-slash-skate label Supreme has taken the model onboard for a collab that featured three colourways of the Supreme x Nike Air Max 96. Use our Nike Air Max 96 II sizing guide to know how they fit.
The TN Air Max Plus, founded by Sean McDowell, will always remain in the hearts of long-term Swoosh collectors. The silhouette was released in the late '90s and was the first pair to introduce the Tuned Air technology: visible Air units strategically placed below to support the feet where it needs it the most. Nike TNs usually come built with an ultra-breathable synthetic mesh upper and palm tree-reminiscent TPU overlays which provides a lightweight feel and better durability. We've got to thank Nike when it comes to their footwear sizing as most are true to size, but feel free to check out our TN Air Max Plus sizing guide if you want to know more info!
The Air Max Genome is one of few new designs from the Beaverton sportswear powerhouse this year. It boasts a low-cut profile clad with a mix of premium materials across the upper and a full-length visible Air component underfoot. Does the Air Max Genome fit true to size? Like most Air Max models, the Genomes fit TTS, so there's no need to worry about going half size up or down.
Last but not least, the Air Max Pre-Day. They entranced the footwear industry in 2021 as part of Nike's annual Air Max Day event and has seen covetable iterations since then. A blend of athletic mesh, durable nylon, soft suede and synthetic leather adorns the 1970s-inspired Nike Air trainers and houses a visible large Air piece beneath the heel that sits on its own untouched by any parts of the midsole unit. They also fit true to size like any other Air Max shoes.
