Supreme and Nike are arguably two of the biggest brands in the industry right now, and the duo hold an incredible collaborative history that just seems to get better with age. Teaming up multiple times per season, the partnership has lasted for over two decades and continues to prove popular amongst sneakerheads and fashion-fans alike. The duo are now back at it once again, although this time they’re taking a trip down memory lane for inspiration.
The two parties collaborated back in 2006 and worked on the Nike SB Blazer for a pair that was allegedly inspired by formalwear, and it was a huge hit back then. Freshly-leaked images now circulating the internet depict two brand-new colourways of the silhouette that are clearly inspired by the original release.
First up is a blacked-out leather pair that opts for snakeskin details, while a blue denim pair has also been unveiled, with both bearing dual-branding throughout the design. Special details include Supreme-branded insoles, “World Famous” hangtags and even silver-tone metal hardware, once again emphasising the high-end feel here.
As it stands there’s currently no news on when these kicks might see the light of day, although there’s a chance they could launch as part of Supreme’s ongoing FW22 season.
