The Air Jordan 1 Low "Chinese New Year" Has Been Unveiled

Starting the new decade off as they mean to go on, Nike has just unveiled their upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low "Chinese New Year"; showing off one of the craziest colourways we've seen dress the popular silhouette so far.

The Chinese New Year Air Jordan 1 is set to arrive decked out in a selection of premium materials, with a mish-mash of patterns and graphics taking over the upper creating a chaotic, yet statement look. Taking inspiration from eastern design and culture, the shoe features embroidered floral detailing across the sidewalls, with small bright red flowers overlaying a matte black Swoosh.

Moving around the side of the sneaker, a grey suede panel covers the toe cap on one shoe, whilst the other is finished with a black patterned textile that also works up the lateral sidewall. This is overlayed with a vibrant pink Swoosh that's decorated with a geometric pattern with varying shades of teal and orange for a contrast of colour. A firework pattern takes over the toe box of one shoe for a show of celebration for the New Year. Extra flashes of colour feature across the outsole, with the tongues coloured in hot pink and finished with Nike Air branding.

More attention to detail is placed on the heels with monochrome colour palettes varying on each shoe and featuring the signature AJ Wings logo and a textured, ribbed heel panel. 3M hits feature across the heels and Swooshes for an extra touch of design.
