As the Swoosh brand starts gearing up for the annual SNKRS Day, official images of this year’s exclusive releases are starting to appear online. Amongst other silhouettes, the Air Jordan 1 Low is set to receive a limited-edition variant that will be available exclusively via the SNKRS app. The day takes place on August 8th and will celebrate 6 years of the app that Nike uses to launch exclusive and in-demand products from.
The pair offer up the classic low-top design that has been a staple in amongst the Jordan Brand roster since all the way back in 1985 when Peter Moore first designed the silhouette. This time around, they’re decked out in a pale yellow hue with leopard print details adorning select panels to give off vibrant looks. If you’re looking for a statement sneaker to add to the collection then could these just be your next cop?
The main material across the upper seems to be premium leather, with the classic panelling of the AJ1 looking better than ever. The leopard print panels instead opt for furry suede which accentuates on the wild look further, while Nike Swoosh logos are present across both the lateral and medial sides for an instantly recognisable touch of branding. Jumpman logos at the tongue and “23” lace loops finalise the look, making these a very solid pair.
This all sits on top of a full-length Nike Air cushioning unit that’s contained comfortably within the iced-out translucent midsole. If you’re looking to add these to your collection then you’ll be pleased to hear that the pair will be made available exclusively via the Nike SNKRS app from the 8th August, so keep it locked in right here for all the latest updates! In the meantime, check out your best look yet at the upcoming Off-White x Nike Blazer Low!
