While the AJ3 has always been a pretty popular silhouette, 2022 is shaping up to be a pretty big year for the Tinker Hatfield-designed shoe. After checking out Eminem's "Air Shady" during his Super Bowl performance and Fat Joe's "Space Hippie" at the NBA All-Star Game, we're now getting up close and personal with the Air Jordan 3 "Muslin" - and it's as clean as it gets.
First teased during a SNKRS Live session back in December, this Air Jordan 3 drops the usual all-leather construction in favour of a naturally-dyed canvas setup that's ultra crispy. Painted in a creamy "Muslin" hue, this is accented by "Cement Grey" tones across the sock-liner and suede mudguards. For a pop of contrast, Jordan Brand have added "University Red" accents on the bottom eyelets and around the tongue. You'll also find this fiery hue on the heel badge too, highlighting the legendary Jumpman logo.
Shifting your focus down below, and you'll find an off-white Nike Air midsole that offers up a vintage vibe. The entire design is tied together with a pair of complementary flat laces, and the AJ3 will come packaged in a special edition shoebox. From these early shots, it looks like they'll also come with a pair of grey laces too so you can mix and match.
March 26th is the day to mark if you want the Nike Air Jordan 3 "Canvas Muslin" in your spring rotation. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colourway, and while you're here, here's when you can cop the Air Jordan 3 OG "Fire Red"!
