It’s set to be a big year for fans of the AJ6, as we’ve just seen these brand-new images of the upcoming Air Jordan 6 “Georgetown” and it’s safe to say that they’re looking like one of the hottest pairs we’ve seen in a while! Visually similar to the PE release we saw last year, this colourway is also inspired by the Georgetown Hoyas and sports a familiar blue and beige colour scheme.
Supple suede forms the majority of the uppers, while the tongues seem to be crafted from nylon to add another layer to the look. Jumpman logos are embroidered onto the tongue and heels for a familiar touch of branding, along with a colour-matched lace lock that’s typical of the AJ6.
Plenty of padding is present around the ankles, reminding us that this silhouette was originally created with performance basketball in mind. A beige and navy midsole unit finishes off the look and encases a visible Air unit that resides under the heel, a creation that was first introduced by Tinker Hatfield.
If you’re already keen on this upcoming pair then you’ll have to stay tuned for further details, as we have a rumoured release date set for the 3rd September, although this is yet to be officially confirmed and could be subject to change. Keep it locked in right here for all the latest and while you’re with us take a look at this classic Nike Air Presto that’s on the way soon!
