Continuing their long standing partnership, adidas Originals and Japanese retailer atmos have teamed up once again to launch a fresh take on the ZX8000 that’s inspired by rare samples from 2012. Titled the atmos x adidas Originals ZX8000 G-SNK “TJ”, the sneakers refer to Till Jagla, who previously worked as the Head of Energy at the three stripe brand, and also the man responsible for bringing this sample out of the archives.
The pair are decked out in a classic ZX colourway that’s composed of hits of cyan, pink and grey to form a familiar combination. Three stripe branding takes pride of place on both the lateral and medial sides, while a Torsion-branded lace dubrae refers to the midsole technology used here.
Textured leather panels adorn much of the uppers along with mesh panels, and the iconic trefoil logo makes an appearance at the tongue tabs. A blue midsole finishes off the look neatly along with a black outsole that provides plenty of traction.
If you’re looking at adding these to your ever-growing sneaker rotation then ensure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier as we’ll be providing more information as to whether these will be receiving a global release - as it stand they’re set for a Japan-exclusive launch on the 14th May. While you’re with us be sure to take a look at that Yeezy 450 “Utility Black” that’s inbound soon.
