Fresh off the back of a successful collaboration with Eames, Reebok is back at it once again and this time around a three-way team effort with Paperboy Paris and BEAMS is on the cards. While the BEAMS x Paperboy Paris x Reebok Club C Legacy may seem like a bizarre clash of brands, Paperboy founder James Dridi is a huge fan of sneaker culture and Japanese streetwear, therefore he personally invited BEAMS to chime into the creation of the sneaker.
Paperboy Paris is easily one of the most popular cafe spots in the French capital and while it may initially strike you as an unusual footwear collaborator, the spot has previously teamed up with London-based retailer Footpatrol and also worked on an incredibly popular New Balance 992 release.
Decked out in a clean white look, the sneakers showcase classic elements of the Club C combined with a modernised touch that makes these the Club C Legacy. Paperboy’s iconic handstyle logo is placed on both the lateral and medial sides where Reebok branding would usually reside, while the BEAMS’ logo instead makes an appearance on the tongue tabs, pointing to the three-way nature of this release. A chunky white midsole completes the look and contains all the cushioning you might need for day-to-day wear.
If you’re liking the look of this upcoming collaborative sneaker, then the good news is that a release date is already set for the 29th October. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker news and updates and while you’re here, take a look at Supreme’s upcoming collaborative capsule with The North Face!
