The Beyonce x adidas Superstar Platform Boasts A Double-Layered Sole

The adidas Superstar silhouette has seen a lot of collabs over the years – from luxury-fashion house Prada to streetwear icon BAPE – and now Beyonce is joining the line-up and the world's very first Beyonce x adidas Superstar sneaker is hitting the shelves. A unique take on the OG Superstar design, Bey has seemingly looked to Nike and Sacai for inspiration, as the sole mimics that of the recently released Sacai x Nike Waffle.

The upper stays true to the original Superstar design with its smooth leather composition, contrasting adidas three-stripe logo, shell toe and perforations on the side. But the midsole is where this sneaker really comes to life. Presented in an off-white hue, the midsole is stacked; the upper layer comes to a point at the toe and the lower level sports the same rounded shape as the old-school Superstar. The textured tread offers optimised grip so you feel fully stable when these are on-foot.
