Following the same colourway approach, the duo has come together once again, this time dressing up the 5740's predecessor, the NB574. As described, the CdGH x New Balance 574 is more or less blacked-out in all regions, the co-branded tongue tags, a small “Engineered by New Balance” label beneath the medial collar and insignificant stitching up front, all in white, are the only elements delivering contrast to this piece.

The construction sees a neat blend of premium leather overlays and breathable mesh underlays, though the quarter panels flaunt translucent synthetic ripstop textiles allowing sidewall co-branding details to pop through: one side flaunts "CdGH" and "new balance" while the counterpart dons an oversized "NB" logo. The stealthy set-up is complete with further branding imprints on the insole, a rubber heel piece, pull tabs, and not to forget, an ENCAP midsole that offers all-day cushioning and support.
