The Dior x Shawn Stussy CNY Capsule Celebrates the Year of the Ox

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and along with the celebrations it’s pretty standard now for plenty of brands to offer limited-edition capsule collections to mark the occasion. Kim Jones and Dior have done just that, this time around teaming up with streetwear legend Shawn Stussy to offer a whole range of garments that celebrate the year of the Ox!

The duo have teamed up before to great success, with Kim Jones often credited as one of the masters of combining streetwear and high-fashion. The current Dior Creative Director was also the man behind the legendary Supreme x Louis Vuitton collection that sent shockwaves through the community back in 2017!

Shawn Stussy’s signature handstyle font is used throughout the capsule, emblazoned on plenty of items for an instantly-recognizable look, while an ox motif is also used repeatedly, honouring the animal of the year according to the Chinese Zodiac calendar. The collection spans from T-Shirts all the way through to intricately decorated college jackets, so there really is something for everyone.

Alongside the apparel, footwear will also launch in the form of Dior’s B23 high-top sneaker and another low-top runner. Other accessories include leather bags, a tie, pin badges and even several jewellery items.
