The Dr. Martens Deadstock Collection is Dedicated to Reducing Waste

Brought to life by the team over at Dr. Martens’ Northamptonshire factory, the brand-new “Deadstock Collection” is the legendary brand’s latest attempt at reducing waste created during the production process. Crafted by expert leather workers in the UK factory, both the 1460 boot and the 1461 shoe featured here are created entirely from upycled leather scraps from the production process that would otherwise be wasted. Due to this process, each pair is totally unique, meaning that this is your chance to own a legitimately 1-of-1 pair DM’s, should you so wish.

With a creative campaign shot on expired 35mm film, everything about this collection aims to reduce waste, meaning this is one of the strongest sustainability projects we’ve seen this year.
