The Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto is Finally Getting a Rerelease

You heard it here first guys, a couple of months ago in fact. The legendary Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto is finally set to get a rerelease – only 18 years after it first dropped in 2004. Designed by Steven Smith all those years ago, there were originally meant to be five colourways, but a last-minute change of plan meant that only around 12 of each were ever made, and these were gifted to friends and family only, making these some of the rarest sneakers ever.

The pair that has been pictured comes in a “University Blue” and white colour palette, and features cute “Hello Kitty” faces scattered over the blue neoprene sockliner. The Air Presto’s midfoot cage is done up in a matte white finish, whilst a bow graphic peeps out from behind the laces.

The Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto omits the silhouette’s usual ‘Air’ branded heel tab in favour of a 3D Hello Kitty, but Nike’s Swoosh branding can still be spotted embroidered on the vamp. The pair sit atop a comfy white sole unit, and a see-through pull adds a final finishing touch.
