The J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 Will Be Glow-In-the-Dark

It seems that Jordan Brand don’t plan to take the heat off the Air Jordan 2 anytime soon, as the label continues to make the silhouette a huge push for 2022 via an upcoming collaboration with J Balvin. We’ve already seen upcoming AJ2s from the likes of Off-White and Union LA unveiled, so we’re preparing for more heat inbound soon. For now, let’s head back to the first look at J Balvin’s upcoming release. Previewed via his Instagram, the Colombian rapper has revealed a teaser image of the pair, and although we can’t see a great deal, some key details are revealed.

The uppers of the sneaker appear to be crafted from panelled leather, while the main attraction here is clearly the glow-in-the-dark outsole and what look like LED lights in the tongue, as mentioned by Balvin in his caption. While some sneakerheads might have these down as gimmicks, you’ve got to give it to the rapper for his innovative personal style, as seen on his previous AJ1.
