The Jaden Smith x New Balance Vision Racer "Trippy Summer" Blooms with Colours

Renowned American actor and music artist Jaden Smith has become a cultural icon in the past couple of years—showing his dedication towards a sustainable lifestyle through several projects, including revamping his New Balance Vision Racer silhouette for Earth Day 2021. This time, fans of Jaden's music and shoes will be pleased to hear that the all-new Jaden Smith x New Balance Vision Racer "Trippy Summer" is dropping soon! Not only that, but it also nods directly to his previous album artworks and a forthcoming single titled the same.

The New Balance Vision Racer silhouette strays quite far from traditional New Balance models—boasting a chunky construction with divided midsoles–unlike the famous New Balance 992 with a streamlined look and the New Balance 550 which has a strong retro vibe.

Launching in two colourways, the duo flaunts vibrant hues inspired by flowers, rainbows, and everything vivid. While both feature a mixed mesh and suede-woven upper, the "Cream" comes with an off-white base and a gradient midsole consisting of red, teal, and blue tones, whereas the "Multi" iteration shows clear orange, green, purple, and fuschia colour blocking underneath. Completing the ensemble is the model's signature icy blue outsole and kaleidoscopic details referencing numerous music offerings from Smith.

The Jaden Smith x New Balance Vision Racer "Trippy Summer" is also set to launch with matching apparel on the 30th of July via select retailers.
