It’s the most exciting time of the year and Jordan Brand has just announced it’s highly-anticipated Spring 2022 Retro lineup, which just so happens to be absolutely full of bangers! Whether you’re a fan of the classic Air Jordan 1 or prefer Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 4 you’re going to be happy to see this season’s upcoming models, as there’s plenty of colourways of all the classic silhouettes, so without further ado let’s get into it.
The iconic Air Jordan 1 kicks things off with two brand new colourways, the “Dark Marina Blue” and then “University Gold/Light Burgundy”. Both showcase traditional colour-blocking as well as Nike Swoosh logos, making these easily one of the most popular models on the Jordan Brand lineup. It’s also set to be a strong year for the Air Jordan 3 fans, as both the “Cardinal Red” and the “Muslin” colourways are officially announced, with the first offering up a truly vintage look and the second opting for a modern-day canvas construction.
As we continue to move through the years via this collection, the Air Jordan 4 seems more prevalent than ever, as we’re treated to three absolute corkers this time around! First up is the AJ4 “Canvas”, mirroring the look of the aforementioned AJ3, while the “Amethyst Wave” colourway serves straight summer looks in a tie-dye style pattern. Last but not least, the eye-catching AJ4 “Infrared” brings us one of the most iconic colourways of all time - what a pair!
Two variants of the AJ5 also make the cut this season, including a low top offering in the form of the AJ5 Low “Arctic Orange”. Check out the “Racer Blue” highs for a more traditional look too. The AJ6 doesn’t miss either, with the “UNC” colourway easily one of the strongest releases we’ve seen in a while! Another release comes in the form of the “Mint Foam”, serving up those clean summer colour palettes.
Last but by no means least, we have the Air Jordan 7 “Sapphire”, the Air Jordan 9 “University Red”, the Air Jordan 13 “White/Del Sol” and the Air Jordan 12 Retro Playoff, all strong colourways in their own rights that will undoubtedly be hugely popular with the more serious Air Jordan collectors amongst us!
As of yet, none of these pairs have confirmed release dates, however they are all set to drop at retailers globally from January 2022 through til March 2022. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest regarding these pairs and so many more, and while you’re here check out how the Nike Air Flight Lite Mid “Scottie Pippen” is set to return!
