After gaining enough experience from his first label Lone Costume back in 1998, South Korea's notorious fashion designer Jung Wook Jun aimed for global domination with the self-titled genderless clothing brand he introduced to the show-goers back in Paris Fashion Week 2007. Juun.J has since maintained its spot in the global fashion industry landing collaborations with renowned labels such as Canada Goose, adidas, Umbro, and far more. From Seoul all the way to Boston, Juun.J has rejoined sportswear giant Reebok once again, now to present the Juun.J x Reebok Instapump Fury in two monochromatic colorways applied with the Korean artist's avant-garde and minimalistic flair.
Following the same approach as the Juun.J x Reebok Pump Court the aforementioned duo worked on late last year, the new co-branded Reebok Instapump Fury is done up with luxe panels and premium detailing very well in line with Jun's aesthetic.
Unlike the Fury's standard vibrant colour arrangements, the Juun.J Reeboks indulge in a murdered-out hue and a rich blue glaze. At the head, we see the iconic Instapump button that enables the wearer to inflate the ultra-glossy patent leather overlays across the sides and rear for a customised fit. While the silhouette maintains its timeless features, notably speaking of the split midsole and DMX cushioning within, further imprints grace the model in the form of Juun.J logo text embroidered forefoot complemented with Reebok Vector logos respectively on other sections, the heel and insoles particularly.
The Juun.J x Reebok Instapump Fury has already made its way to the streets of Seoul and is now planned for a global release on the 1st of April via select retailers. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your line-up and always stayed in the loop of all Reebok trainer release dates, updates, teasers and much more here at The Sole Supplier! In related news, the upcoming Maison Margiela x Reebok Club C has a trick up its sleeve.
